Changing Your Password
If you need to change your ESD password, go to myaccount.esdallas.org.
Once there, click "Set Up Account"
It will then have you sign in using your @esdallas.org email address and your current password.
If you have set up MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) this will pop up on your screen and send a notification to your phones as well.
- Make sure to CHECK the "Don't ask again for 60 days" check box before you input the 2-digit number on your phone.
Once inside your account - click on the brown "Change Password" button.
It will then take you here where you will put in your old (current) password once and the new password you are changing it to twice. Then click "Submit".
If successful, you should see this message. It may take a few minutes - as it says - for everything to sync up properly.
Now that you've reset your password - please do the following:
- Restart your laptop.
- Sign into your computer with your new password.
- Open Google Chrome
- In the upper right corner click on your
- And make sure that your sync is turned on - IF it is you are good.
- IF sync is not turned on you will need to click the Blue Bar that says "Turn on sync...":
- It MAY have you log in again using your @esdallas.org login and the new password you just created.
- It MAY also have you do the Multi-Factor Authentication again to make sure it is you.
- Don't forget to check the "Don't ask again for 60 days" check box before you input the 2-digit number on your phone.
- Next, click "Continue".
- The Password reset should be complete on your computer.
